Veiled Worlds
The Earth fell in silence. The Masakahr war machine left nothing behind but ash and echoes. Humanity was erased... or so they thought.
From the ruins, a single spark escaped. A stolen vessel, torn from the enemy’s grip, carries the last breathing souls of a dead world. Within its databases lie the star charts of a thousand alien civilizations—a thousand doors to knock on, and a thousand ways to die.
Trust is the Deadliest Gamble
In Veiled Worlds, you are the final authority for the human race. Your mission is simple yet soul-crushing: find a home before your ship—and your people—wither away in the void.
As you drift toward unknown planets, you will engage in tense, high-stakes negotiations with alien representatives. You must probe them for answers about their world’s atmosphere, resources, and hospitality. But in a "dark forest" universe, every smile is a mask. Is the representative offering sanctuary, or are they luring you into a trap of slavery and predation?
A Fading Lens
You aren't just fighting alien deception; you are fighting time itself. Decades of cryosleep and the wear of deep-space travel have left your vessel’s systems in tatters. Your scanners are glitchy, providing data that may be as unreliable as the aliens themselves.
Every conversation is a race against a dying machine. With limited power to maintain communication links, you must choose your questions wisely. One lead might unlock a deeper truth about a planet’s toxic clouds, but another might leave you in the dark as the screens flicker to black.
The Weight of Survival
Every time you choose to reject a world and jump back into the void, the ship groans. Resources dwindle. The hull weakens. You cannot run forever.
Whether you find a new Eden, a battlefield, or a slaughterhouse depends on your intuition and your ability to see through the "veil." In the end, the game will count the survivors.
Will you lead humanity to a new dawn, or will you be the captain who oversaw its final breath?
